Los Angeles was filled with the biggest stars in music for the 61st Grammy Awards. The award show is obviously the main attraction but there’s often a lot more parties and events going on in the days leading up to the Grammys. Each year, Roc Nation host their annual pre-Grammys brunch where some of the biggest names in music post up. Jay-Z and Beyonce were obviously in the building while Nipsey Hussle, Janelle Monae, Usher, Meek Mill, Kevin Hart, and others show face. It’s a star-studded affair but apparently, that didn’t mean that a few attendees wouldn’t be starstruck themselves.
Meek Mill revealed the thirst levels were high at the Roc Nation brunch this past weekend. The rapper, who’s under a management deal with Roc Nation, revealed that he saw a few guys that were willing to do whatever for a picture with Jay-Z. “I seen some guys throw it all away for a hov pic today,” he wrote. Unfortunately, fans quickly reminded him to humble himself, claiming that could’ve been him 10 years ago.
Meek was undoubtedly one of the most recognizable stars at the event. The rapper and his fellow Philly native, Kevin Hart, gave inspirational toasts at the pre-Grammy Roc Nation brunch. Other celebs that showed face were Casanova, DJ Khaled, Miguel, Usher, Normani, Big Sean, Diddy, and more.
