UK emcee Little Simz has made her mark on the industry with her intelligent rhymes which artfully welcome listeners to bear witness to her experiences and journey.

In her single “Boss,” Simz makes it clear that her hard-earned status is one she has fought for and one that she intends to keep. Speaking about the music video’s creative vision, director Jeremy Ngatho Cole shared, “For ‘Boss’ I wanted to make something with Simz that felt immediate and striking without any gimmicks. On the track it’s just Simz, so I wanted to showcase her performance directly. I wanted it to feel classic. We shot on 16mm, digital and tape so the aesthetic was layered but simple.”

1542465803_97231f2ddd7546a27b440f76250a8872.jpg

The arrival of singer Kyle Dion’s forthcoming album will soon be upon us. But before it gets here, Dion has been gifting our ears with addictive previews, starting things off with “Brown,” and leading us into tracks such as “Cool Side Of The Pillow,” “Spend It,” and now, “Not All The Way.”

On the newest cut, the old school elements that have colored the tracks before it persist with crisp falsettos and hooking bass lines underscoring the dreamy new persona that Kyle Dion has crafted throughout the creation of this new project.

“Without giving too much away, this mysterious character is the sort of man that has it all – women, money, travel – he even has love and he feels untouchable,” Dion previously explained of the alter ego present on his album.

Listen to “Not All The Way” now.

Quotable Lyrics

I’m tryna keep this thing together
I think I know myself
When you say things like forever
Feels like you’re out here loving recklessly
Can we meet in the middle?
Get a little room for a couple nights

1542424963_70006e4637c9118024f8762d776796ef.jpg

Problem dropped the single “Fuck Me Too” off S2 two weeks ago, and he returns with another offering from the upcoming album. Entitled “Wild Nights,” Problem’s latest track is a bass-heavy street anthem. Harsh piano riffs give the single a patented West Coast vibe, and Problem goes in over the dark instrumental.

The single comes along with an interactive website called City of the Litty. The website is dope, and visitors can click on artwork that features artists who can be expected to show up on S2. From Mozzy To Wiz Khalifa, French Montana to Diddy, the interactive website lets you click on characters for teasers, funny videos, and more.

Quotable Lyrics
Baby scooped me, now we zooming up Mulholland Drive
I lit my weed, she tried to trip, I said shut up and drive
She knew to listen, other bitches blowing up my phone
She started yelling, told her quick, you better watch your tone

1542431396_6ada71cbb257852321fd5018e70b2022.jpg

Young Dolph dropped his Role Model tape back in September, and the Memphis, Tennessee rapper included an ode to his mother on the project. Entitled “Black Queen,” the song features Moma Gabbana on the piano as Dolph lays down his bars over a percussion-less single. “Black Queen” has received the video treatment, and Moma Gabbana tags along with her son to play the piano live.

The music video is simple, with Dolph drinking wine and rapping while his mothers plays the piano behind him. There are moments when he sits down with his parent, displaying their bond as Moma Gabbana looks regal next to her son.

Jaden Smith Delivers Addicting Single "Plastic"

1542433678_90e8cd5c64cf3bee79172f86ba6821bd.jpeg

Jaden Smith reappeared on the scene Friday with a new project entitled The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape StoryThe 11 track project places Smith in his usual unique setting, with auto-tuned croons and introspective musings littering the album. “Plastic” stands out on The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story as a hard-hitting single.

Smith opted to drop the tape without releasing a single, but “Plastic” would be the most obvious choice for a lead track. The excited instrumental finds Jaden rapping through auto-tune and a distortion filter that meshes well to create an anxious-sounding ambiance. “Plastic” only runs for two minutes, but that’s more than enough time for Smith to do his thing.

Quotable Lyrics
We got a whole different exit
And we got a different entrance
Case we run into them haterade sipping niggas with them bad intentions
Burning white picket fences

1542445094_539e4eed636bb5b095c303e8dc18d8bb.jpg

Hailey Baldwin, I mean Bieber, has made things Instagram official. The relationship between Hailey and Justin Bieber has been on an upward spiral since the beginning of the year. Rumors that the two had wed began to circulate online after they were spotted at a courthouse soon after the engagement. Hailey shrugged off the rumors, and the world was left to believe that the two were still engaged. Then, Alec Baldwin confirmed that his niece had gotten married, causing the couple’s fans to go wild.

Most recently, Justin hopped on Instagram to post a picture of him and Hailey together. “My wife is awesome,” was the caption he chose to describe the picture, furthering confirming the marriage. As if that wasn’t enough, Hailey has now officially changed her last name to Bieber on Instagram

There is no trace of “Baldwin” left, as Hailey opted to ditch the hyphenated trend that some women with memorable or powerful last names seem to follow. According to TMZHailey filed to get her new full name trademarked, which means she’s very serious about branding herself from here on out. Expect Hailey Bieber merchandise to be the next trending fashion line or makeup brand.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's Former Booking Agency Claims That He Lied About Being Robbed

1542446810_ab2c98db8736f24bec7cafb197815449.jpg

On Friday, Tekashi 6ix9ine stopped by The Breakfast Club and claimed that the reason he fired his entire team was that he was being robbed. Tekashi claimed that he only received around $300,000 of an alleged $3.5 million deal, something that shocked almost anyone watching the interview. Tekashi continued on to claim that members of the booking company that handled the deal, MTA, also threatened the life of his mother. According to TMZMTA is refuting Tekashi’s claims

A rep for MTA claims that there was never a $3.5 million deal in the first place. It was a discussion, but never a deal that was hammered out, debated, or written down on paper. They went on to reaffirm that MTA, along with Tr3way Entertainment, handled the rainbow-haired rapper’s security, travel, and transportation. The also emphasized that they worked around the clock to make sure Tekashi made it to his various court appearances safely.

MTA told TMZ that they booked nine upcoming US shows, and two in Mexico, for Tekashi. They claim he was paid a $700,000 deposit for those shows. There were also five shows in Germany for which Tekashi was allegedly paid nearly $160,000 in deposits. MTA is currently contemplating taking legal action against Tekashi for his words on The Breakfast Club.

MF Doom Hallows "MM…Food" Anniversary With Insane "One Beer" Visuals

1542443462_5ba33fc1ca074ffd74b3dea73c9fa96c.jpg

MF Doom released his classic MM..Food project in 2004, and to celebrate the 14th anniversary he’s blessed fans with new visuals. The single “One Beer” from the album gets an anime style music video that is both crude and hilarious. One beer is at the center of a fight between Doom and Quasimoto, while a giant lady goes on a trippy adventure. If that doesn’t sound like it makes any sense, you’ve pretty much summed up the video.

Directed by Anhia Zaira Santana, also known as Distortedd, the “One Beer” video would be perfect to watch after lighting one up. Alongside the video, Rhymesayers Entertainment has released a limited run of DOOM x Distortedd t-shirts, which can be purchased here.

NBA Youngboy Blacks Out & Faints On Stage During Lit Performance

1542435042_8b206e1f0c4cb27e96fbf274b34f772c.jpg

NBA Youngboy must be having the time of his life. He dropped off a new song called “Hypnotized” on Friday (November 16), further adding to the list of bangers he has released this year. The Baton Rouge artist did find himself entrenched in drama this year as well. NBA Youngboy was caught on camera getting into a physical altercation with his girlfriend, and he was also arrested in Florida for assault, kidnapping, and weapon charges. Still, he’s been able to turn the bad press into gasoline, with his foot on the pedal heading for the top of the game.

NBA Youngboy was performing one of his songs recently, and it appears the rapper may have gotten too drunk before the show. While on stage performing his single “Dope Lamp,” NBA Youngboy lost control of his ability to stand up. At first, the energetic rapper is clearly seen turning up, while rehearsing his lyrics over the track playing in the background. Suddenly, he faints and falls into the crowd. It may be simple dehydration or lack of sleep that took over NBA Youngboy, but a video of him standing in the crowd struggling to stand up afterward hints at a different cause.

Bill Maher Takes Shots At Stan Lee & Comic Lovers, Gets Blasted By The Internet

1542436687_1716bef54de145eb086d80d3ed4ab030.jpg

Stan Lee is a legend. Period. There isn’t an asterisk next to his creative genius because he created comic books, a medium that was widely considered to be for children only for decades. Superheroes aren’t only for kids though. There are millions of “adult” novels that highlight some type of protagonist who needs to defeat a villain against all odds. Both the James Bond and Jason Bourne book series are a great example. In the movie media as well, people are introduced to heroes like Indiana Jones, Neo, Mad Max, or Han Solo. Even cartoons like South Park and Big Mouth prove that a medium which is usually connected with kids (cartoons), can be fine-tuned for adult entertainment as well. For some reason though, Bill Maher thinks the idea of heroes is for children.

Maher wrote an op-ed piece in the wake of Stan Lee’s death that throws shade at the comic book creator and his fans. “The guy who created Spider-Man and the Hulk has died, and America is in mourning,” he wrote. “Deep, deep mourning for a man who inspired millions to, I don’t know, watch a movie, I guess. Someone on Reddit posted, ‘I’m so incredibly grateful I lived in a world that included Stan Lee.’ Personally, I’m grateful I lived in a world that included oxygen and trees, but to each his own.” His shade didn’t stop there though.

“But the assumption everyone had back then, both the adults and the kids, was that comics were for kids, and when you grew up you moved on to big-boy books without the pictures,” he continued.  “But then twenty years or so ago, something happened – adults decided they didn’t have to give up kid stuff. And so they pretended comic books were actually sophisticated literature. And because America has over 4,500 colleges – which means we need more professors than we have smart people – some dumb people got to be professors by writing theses with titles like Otherness and Heterodoxy in the Silver Surfer.” Maher’s ridiculous remarks were torn apart by the comic book community immediately. Check out the reactions below.
