Halle Berry recently celebrated her 54th birthday but it appears she has other things to celebrate: a new love.

Over the past couple of months, Berry has given her Instagram fans hints that she has a new man in her life. Although she never came out saying it directly, the actress posted a couple of feet photos that show not only her feet but also the feet of a mystery man.

Well now the cat is out of the bag.. sort of. Berry posted a photo on Instagram wearing a shirt with the name Van Hunt on it. Seems innocent, right? Well her caption spills the tea. She humorously, wrote, “now ya know… ♥🦶🏽”.

Get it? We’ve been wondering who these feet belonged to and now we know, it is musician Van Hunt.

Hunt, 50, is a neo soul and funk musician who has earned himself a Grammy for a cover of Sly & The Family Stone’s “Family Affair” with John Legend and Joss Stone.

He also has released a couple solo projects.

50 Cent Inks Deal With Starz To Develop Female Sports Agent, Hip-Hop Anthology Drama Series

If there’s one thing 50 Cent knows how to do, it’s creating quality television for the culture.  We know it, and Starz knows it, too.

That’s why the network announced their new deal with the Queens rapper to develop two original scripted series for our screens.

Fif will develop both series as an executive producer through his G-Unit Film and Television imprint under his exclusive four-year deal with the premium network.

LIKE US ON FACEBOOK. FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM & TWITTER. SUBSCRIBE TO OUR YOUTUBE.

The first project follows the successful climb of a young, ambitious Black woman breaking through the obstacles of the highly competitive and male-dominated world of sports agents. The show might have the makings of being an instant hit with “Snowfall” and “Raising Kanan” script genius Tash Grey attached as executive producer and writer.

And get this. The story is inspired by the life of attorney and sports agent Nicole Lynn, who made her mark as the first Black woman to represent a top 3 NFL draft pick.  As a University of Oklahoma alumni, the rising star earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Doctor of Law (J.D.) with honors before trading her Wall Street job for the competitive world of sports at 26-years-old.

Lynn currently represents NFL players, softball players, music artists, and soon will make way to dominate the NBA now that she’s received her certification earlier this year. As a matter of fact, she still actively practices law while juggling her dream job in sports.

The second project taps screenwriter Abdul Williams to executive produce “Moment in Time: The Massacre,” the seasonal anthology series exploring the true stories behind Hip-Hop’s most iconic moments and sometimes criminal events behind-the-scenes.  Williams is an NAACP Image Award-winning writer whose work captivated fans with BET hit series “The New Edition Story” and “The Bobby Brown Story” a few years back.

The first subject kicking off the season examines how 50 Cent and The Game’s feud snowballed into a street war between his group G-Unit and former record executive Jimmy Henchman. After catching a bunch of L’s trying to overturn his convictions, the disgraced promotor is currently serving a couple of life sentences in prison for drugs, guns, murder-for-hire charges.  The other stories rumored to be told in the series include Tekashi 69, Snoop Dogg’s murder trial, and the rise of NBA street legend Rafer “Skip To My Lou” Alston.

Fif alreaduy has his hands in a couple of developments including the BMF series and a T.I. partnered docuseries exploring the journey of an N.Y.P.D. detective’s life as the department’s first Hip-Hop cop.

Basketball superstar Maya Moore put her career on hold to become an activist and help free individuals who’ve been wrongfully convicted. Now Moore is revealing that she and Jonathan Irons, a man she helped free from a 23-year prison stint earlier this year, are married!

The couple joined Good Morning America on Wednesday (September 16) to share the details of how their friendship blossomed into a relationship and marriage.

“We wanted to announce today that we are super excited to continue the work that we are doing together, but doing it as a married couple,” Moore said. “We got married a couple months ago and we’re excited to just continue this new chapter of life together.”

The 31-year-old Moore said she first met Moore through a prison ministry program when she was 18 and the romantic feelings grew eventually over time.

“Over the last 13 years we have just developed a friendship and just entered into this huge battle to get him home and just over time it was pretty clear what the Lord was doing in our hearts and now we’re sitting here today, starting a whole new chapter together,” she said.

Irons was 16 when he was convicted by an all-white jury for the burglary and shooting at the home of 38-year-old Stanley Stotler. His conviction was overturned after 23 years in March as a judge ruled that there were discrepancies in how Irons’ case was investigated and tried. A fingerprint report that would have proved his innocence was not turned over to his defense team.

Moore was on hand to see Irons’ be released earlier this year and now the couple’s story will be turned into a documentary. Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts’ Rock’n Robin production company is teaming with ESPN to produce a doc about Moore and Irons’ story.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Tina Knowles-Lawson Reveals ‘Beyoncé is Actually Her Maiden Name

2764.png

Tina Knowles-Lawson has revealed the surprising origin of Beyoncé‘s name.

During Tuesday’s premiere episode of the podcast In My Head with Heather Thomson podcast, the singer’s mother said “Beyoncé” is actually her maiden name.

“A lot of people don’t know that Beyoncé is my last name. It’s my maiden name,” she said, per PEOPLE. “My name was Celestine Beyoncé, which at that time was not a cool thing to have that weird name. I wanted my name to be Linda Smith because those were the cool names.”

She went on to say that only a few people in her family have the “Beyoncé” last name, while others have “Beyincé” due to a clerical error.

“I think me and my brother Skip were the only two that had B-E-Y-O-N-C-E,” she said.

“It’s interesting — and it shows you the times — because we asked my mother when I was grown. I was like, ‘Why is my brother’s name spelled B-E-Y-I-N-C-E? You know, it’s all these different spellings,’ ” Knowles-Lawson added. “And my mom’s reply to me was like, ‘That’s what they put on your birth certificate.’”

“So I said, ‘Well, why didn’t you argue and make them correct it?’ ” she continued. “And she said, ‘I did one time. The first time, and I was told be happy that you’re getting a birth certificate because, at one time, Black people didn’t get birth certificates.”

The fashion designer also noted that it “must’ve been horrible” for her mother to “not to even be able to have her children’s names spelled correctly.”

“So we all have different spellings,” she said. “People don’t even put the two together and know that’s the same name.”

Knowles-Lawson recently opened up to PEOPLE about being away from her grandchildren amid the COVID pandemic. She said “every day” she calls or FaceTimes Beyonce’s kids, daughter Blue and her 3-year-old twin siblings Sir and Rumi.

“My granddaughter Rumi, who’s 3, yesterday her mom called me on a home phone. She had never seen a [landline] phone in her life, so she didn’t even know what it was,” she recalled. “Beyoncé said, ‘Oh, Mama, she’s looking at that like … ‘ And she keeps saying, ‘I can’t see you!’ “

“That’s the hard part,” she added. “But up until about six weeks ago, I was seeing them every day because we all got tested and we weren’t in contact with anyone, so I got to go over there every day. So when they left it was like withdrawal. And my oldest granddaughter told her mom, ‘Grandma is hugging us too much,’ when I first went around them. Because you just wanna touch ’em and you wanna hug ’em, so I’m going through that.”

Vivica A. Fox Set To Join E! Live From The Red Carpet Emmy Special

14811222297238.jpg

Live Show & Holiday Party For 'Vivica's Black Magic,' Premiering January 4th

Source: Randy Shropshire / Getty

Now this is refreshing. We’ve long missed honest and blunt voices when it comes to critiquing Hollywood’s fashion during award season since Fashion Police ruled our post-show lives.

Looks like we have some commentary to look forward to! Congratulations are in order for Vivica A. Fox as she’s just been named the new face of E!’s Live From The Red Carpet: The 2020 Emmy Awards special.

The actress turned show host is co-hosting this year’s red carpet special alongside E! veteran, Giuliana Rancic.

Taking cues from this year’s virtual BET Awards hosted by Amanda Seales and most recently, the virtual MTV Awards hosted by Keke Palmer, the E! Red carpet pre-show special will grant fans access into the excitement that goes down before the Emmy awards begin, but this time they’ll be live from inside a studio in Universal City, California rather than at their usual position on the actual red-carpet in the midst of the action.

LIKE US ON FACEBOOK. FOLLOW US ON  & . SUBSCRIBE TO OUR .

While this may be Vivica’s first time hosting alongside Giuliana and the folks at E!, the actress is no stranger to the hosting seat as she’s been known for hosting and interviewing since the very beginning of her career. She’s also been spending a lot of time recording live interviews on her podcast, Hustling with Vivica A. Fox, every week while social-distancing during the pandemic–an experience that we’re sure will come in handy as she prepares to virtually co-host the upcoming pre-show.

Like its award show predecessors, the Primetime Emmy Awards will also have social-distancing rules in place as it will take place without an audience, as most large events have also done over the last few months. Hosted by comedian and talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, this Sunday’s broadcast will feature some of our favorites such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Sterling K. Brown, Yvonne Orji, Issa Rae, Billy Porter and Zendaya as they go for big awards in each of their respective categories.

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards will air live this Sunday beginning at 4:30pm ET.

Ray J and Princess Love are over — again.

The singer and entrepreneur announced on Monday (September 14) that he was filing for divorce from his wife of four years, even after he initially called off the divorce when the two reconciled over the summer.

Back in May, Princess Love was the party who called for a divorce but Ray chose family first over splitting up. Apparently, whatever initially worked this summer didn’t last until the fall. If you remember, the two had a huge fight in Las Vegas last November where Princess claimed that she was “stranded” in Vegas after the argument. At the time, she was eight months pregnant and preparing for the birth of the couple’s son, Epik.

The two Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood co-stars tied the knot in 2016 and have two kids together, 2-year-old Melody Love Norwood and Epik.
