It is not just the fault of Hamas for children being put on the front lines of violence, it is also the parents of these children that permit it to happen. This was not just during the year and a half “great march of return” but in almost every altercation. This past week a father was distraught when his two sons were killed by the IDF, they were 21 and 22 Yrs. of age. That father has to look in the mirror and ask himself this question. Did I teach them from a young age about hate and bias of Israeli’s or did I teach them peaceful coexistence? If he taught them the latter, they why were there there confronting the IDF to get killed? Golda Meir said it right years ago when she said “the Palestinians will never have peace until they love their children more than they hate Israeli’s”.
