DGCA suspends licence of 2 SpiceJet pilots

The two pilots operating a SpiceJet flight which skidded on landing at Kolkata runway earlier this month have been grounded for six months. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday issued the order after its probe found alleged lapses by the crew. The incident had happened on July 2 when they were operating a Boeing 737 (VT-SYI) as SG 275 from Pune to Kolkata.
