And, if he is released, as a result of his self-imposed starvation, he may be too sick to ever “resist” the rest of his life. And,
If he does return to the “resistance” in any meaningful way, then he will probably be re-arrested by Israeli forces again.
And thus, Abu Hawash & other hunger strikers are more hardly noteworthy, than a “doomsday” of any sort.

Second – he wrote a PhD thesis in Moscow Patrice Lumumba university in 1982, in which he argued that Holocaust has never happened. Both those episodes guarantee Abbas place among the worst enemies of the Jewish people. We will not forget nor forgive.

How can it ‘pay’ when permits are allotted on an ethnic basis? The ‘wrong’ ethnicity (actual natives) is constantly denied permits because they are the wrong ethnicity. One of HRW’s prime examples of the existence of apartheid in Apartheid Israel is the Jerusalem city plan which projects percentages of which ethnicity lives where and their number. Imagine if New York City issued permits based on race according to a racially conceived city plan.
NO civilized state issues permits on a racial basis. Only Judeo-Nazi Apartheid Israel.
The Palestinian Authority issues building permits to all areas of the West Bank — even those where Israel maintains security and administrative control. Simple question: Do you know if this building conforms with the Palestinian Authority requirements? These are things that responsible journalism should include.
