Re: Hanna: Christians must defend Palestine

Ah yes, the antisemitic Christian cleric/jihadi speaks again. Or does he. Why would it take a week to report what he said, MEMO?

Either way, this guy isn’t to be taken seriously – he’s freaking hilarious. Just look him up, you’ll have a good laugh. He’s Queen Drama/Troublemaker and a clown. The only reason the “Palestinian” Muslims like him is because he sides with them.

Methinks this guy should stick to making false claims to Israeli owned real estate.
Or perhaps he should look to his superior, who ACTUALLY deserves some respect and credibility, who is the “Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and all Palestine, Israel, Syria, beyond the Jordan River, Cana of Galilee, and Holy Zion“.

This guy is Archbishop of Sebastia. What is “Sebastia”? Look it up. You’ll have a good laugh at that too. New name for an ancient Israelite town, the town of Samaria.

The Chief Rabbi is an extremely articulate and intelligent man, who would have given great thought to the consequences of his actions in speaking up against a proposed “leader” of the UK. Anyone not overtly mendacious and living in a bubble of denial precipitated by gross antisemitism, acknowledges that there is indisputable evidence to support the idea that Jeremy Corbyn has acted wholly negligently in his refusal to stamp out the rampant antisemitsm in his party. There is also evidence to suggest that Jeremy Corbyn has involved himself in antisemitism himself.

What you understand is irrelevant, because the examples set out in the IHRA definition make up the definition. Corbyn and the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party’s refusal to accept the IHRA definition shows that they have little respect for the Jewish community and their views.

A video has recently emerged of Corbyn speaking to none other than Iranian state-TV, essentially questioning Israel’s right to exist. Search for “Corbyn questions Israel’s right to exist”.

Your assertion that Rabbi Mirvis represents only a small segment of British Jewry is totally incorrect. As the spiritual leader for British Jewry, he represents the entire British Jewish community and Jewish communities all over the UK recognise that fact. The evidence to suggest that Jeremy Corbyn hold antisemitic views is compelling and the Chief Rabbi has every right, and is indeed obliged in his position as spiritual leader of British Jewry, to warn of the dangers of electing an antisemite into government.

Tee-hee. Look. I get that you’ve been indoctrinated with a mythical idea of “Palestine”. I’m simply telling you that the university history department saying that while Israel has a ‘narrative’, Palestine has real history is the truest statement I’ve ever seen about this ‘conflict’. This “university history department saying” only exists in Plainliar’s fantasising, bigoted mind and not in reality.

You are simply repeating myth as history.

“There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not.”
Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian to Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry, 1946

One of the keynote slanders of late was the fake bullying of MP Loise Ellman. The Jewish Chronicle, mouthpiece of the slanderers, has been reprimanded by the UK’s main press regulator for “significantly misleading” claims in reports about supposed antisemitism in the Labour Party. The Independent Press Standards Organization also called the newspaper’s obstruction of the investigation into a series of articles published this year “unacceptable.” In a ruling on Friday, the press body upheld a complaint by a Labour activist named in the articles. They accused Jews of ‘antisemitism’, doctored recordings and leaked private information to the media.

Nothing really new there. In August, the Chronicle was forced to pay $60,000 in libel damages to InterPal, a British charity which aids Palestinians.

I suspect Plainspeaker is unemployed/retired but I actually work for a living so I don’t have time to respond in detail. I will have to make a few points in response.

1) Why are you obsessed with South Africa. That was white colonialists who had not historical ties to South Africa before the colonized it. The Jews have 3,000 year old ties. So no comparison. Sadly, South Africa is not improved since black rule.

2) What country are you from? Whichever, I bet it did much worse than the Jews ever did in reclaiming their homeland so I don’t see what right you have to judge the Jews or the Israelis. You are a hypocrite.

3) When I said most land was state land, I included the Negev while your quotation excludes it. Anyway, even if you quote is accurate (which is not established) that quote anticipated a peace treaty in the near future in 1949; it did not come. The Arabs chose further war so tough luck to them. Times change.

4) There is overwhelming evidence of an exile including contemporaneous records. Are you suggesting the Jews just imagined the Romans conquered Judea and killed and exiled most of the Jews there? I did not say every single one but clearly the populations of Jews in other regions increased dramatically in short order. How could that happen otherwise? Mass conversion?

5) Muslims murder each other all the time in the name of their religion. I don’t see what qualifies you to declare such things are prohibited under Islam. Jews were second class citizens when they were permitted to live in Muslim countries. Was that imagined as well?

6) Judaism is a religion, Jewish is an ethnicity/national identity. I did not say anything about a race, which it obviously is not. The Bible speaks of the Jewish people many times. I guess that is moranic to you as well.

7) The Roma have no proven tie to Punjab, but if they could prove their ancestors had a Roma kingdom for 500 years there and it was conquered by some other group, and they wanted to reclaim their land, I say go for it.

If the Native Americans want to reclaim their land, go for it. However, they are not able to and it makes more sense for them to try to prosper in the state that was built on their lands. Native Americans were mostly a bunch of separate tribes however and they had no national identity.

8) Jews have a 3,000 to 5,000 year history. The Palestinian Arab history as distinct people is less than 100 years old. Arabs living in Palestine is not the same as Palestinian people because there was no Palestinian Arab national identity in the past.

9) The French resistance were french citizens of an existing nation resisting an invasion by a foreign country. The Palestinian Arab militants WANT to create a Palestinian Arab nation but one never existed. Big difference. The Palestinian clan of Arabs are more like the Kurds, except I believe even the Kurds had a nation in the past and the Kurds are a distinct people while the Palestinian Arabs are (well) generic Arabs.

10) Look the Arabs committed massacres of Jews in Hebron and Safed before 1945 so even if the Zionists began a counterattack in 1945, that was fine. You are just whining that the Arab armies were incompetent in 1948, but still Israel lost 1% of its population in that war. That is much more than Americans killed in our revolutionary war (6800 out of 2.7 million).

11) The Christians are dying off in Arab controlled areas of Palestine. Just like they are in Lebanon. You are not convincing any Christians with your argument. I have no objection to making any Christian Arab resident of the West Bank or Gaza a full citizen of Israel (if they want it). Unfortunately, no Western nation has demonstrated how to preserve a Western civilization if Muslim citizen population reaches above critical numbers. Israel is probably the best test case. Why don’t you go live in a Muslim nation if you think that is so desirable.
