Trippie Redd Memes Kodak Black & Young M.A As Married Couple

1553205521_fa414df553d3dd94155c442da4a44f0a.jpg

We’ve all seen ’em, the memes pitting Young M.A. and Kodak Black as lovers, many of which were propagated by the Miami rapper himself. It all started when Kodak told both Young M.A. and Nicki Minaj they could “get it” in the bedroom.

After getting not but radio silence in response, Kodak Black launched into a more graphic romantic overture centered around his favorite “dykes” in the game. Unfortunately, hip-hop culture isn’t widely understanding of queer identifiers, even though by all accounts Young M.A. looks the part of a feisty opponent.

After enduring a whole slew of offensive remarks, Kodak Black finally put an end to his dubious overture by claiming he was “too fly for that shit,” in an impromptu Insta Live session. While this was occurring, an unsourced meme depicting Kodak and Young M.A. starting making waves on the Internet, aided in part by a Trippie Redd repost on the same platform. Unfortunately, in sensing he might become the target of Kodak’s next belligerent attack, Trippie deleted the repost. But as you’ll see, the unsourced oeuvre is still alive and well on numerous platforms.

"He-Man" Has Been Cast In "Masters Of The Universe Reboot"

hemann.jpg

With reboot fever well-underway and Toy-centric movies flourishing with key demographics, Sony Pictures and Mattell Films have deemed it the appropriate time to unleash “He-Man” onto the masses. With their upcoming relaunch of Masters Of The Universe in the production stages, the powers that be have already set their sights on a potential leading man in Noah Centineo. The young actor, who had a breakout turn in the Netflix film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, appears to be in talks to handle the iconic role.

The film is based on Mattel’s line of action figures, which went on to spawn a 1987 starring Dolph Lundgren as the swole, blonde-mopped hero. Many have already cited differences between Centineo and the character he’s tapped to play, but it’s likely the studio is planning on taking the character in a different direction altogether.

In any case, the Masters Of The Universe reboot is set to be directed by Brothers Adam and Aaron Nee, working off a script by David S. Goyer. What do you think of this movie? Any interest?

Reebok Instapump Fury To Drop In Two New Colorways For 25th Anniversary

reebok-instapump-fury-25th-anniversary-4.png

While the Reebok Instapump Fury has seen quite a bit of success as part of the Reebok x Vetements collab, it’s been a while since we’ve seen the shoe as a standalone entity. Luckily for us, Reebok has decided to change that thanks to the fact that 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of the Reebok Instapump Fury’s initial launch in 1994. The first colorway to come out will be in its OG form, a black, yellow, and red colorways that shows off the intricate details of the shoe. Now, Reebok is showing off two more colorways that consumers can expect sometime in the future.

The two colorways are fairly simple compared to the OG model. The first comes with a black upper that features patches of suede and mesh, while green accents help spice up the look. As for the second colorway, the upper comes in different shades of white as red and grey highlights dress up the rest of the shoe. Despite being fairly basic, these two colorways could prove to be a great introduction into the world of the Reebok Instapump Fury.

So far there is no release information for these so stay tuned for any updates as we will be sure to provide them.

NCAA Roasted By Athletes For Tone-Deaf "Day In The Life" Video

1553190537_8d8df38826fbc52d903b212c5b4d30e4.jpg

Over the last few years, the NCAA has come under fire for the way it treats their athletes. College sports bring in millions of dollars every year and it always ends up in the hands of the schools and the coaches, but never the actual students. Student-athletes aren’t even allowed gifts or they could be subject to suspensions or worse: expulsion. It’s a pretty rough way to treat the players who are the ones bringing so many eyes to their respective sports. Due to the NCAA’s stance, the organization isn’t viewed favorably by those who have been through it. It’s this distaste for the NCAA that led to the hilarious Twitter reactions of former college athletes after the organization posted a “day in the life” of a student-athlete video.

The video itself is pretty basic. It takes the viewer through the different stages of an athletes day as they juggle their classes. While the intentions were probably good, it was clear that the NCAA was doing some embellishment. In the video, it makes it seem as though the athlete has a pretty happy-go-lucky life, although as many student-athletes can attest, the portrayal in the Twitter video isn’t accurate in the slightest. In fact, it’s a lot more stressful than the NCAA would like you to think.

Here are some of the best reactions to the video.

GettyImages-1069633534.jpg

Cardi B’s “Okurrr” was one of the biggest catchphrases in 2018 and now, it looks like she’s getting ready to capitalize on it to the fullest. According to The Blast, the Bronx-bred rapper filed paperwork to trademark the saying for merchandising purposes such as shirts, hoodies, pants, as well as cups and posters.

The phrase gained tons of popularity after her appearance on Jimmy Fallon last year. While co-hosting the gig, Fallon ran through a few of her catchphrases, such as “Okurrr,” and asked her to define what they meant.

“You know, it’s like a cold pigeon in New York City… Okurrr,” she explained before showcasing the different variations of the saying. “It depends on the situation that you’re in. If somebody checks somebody, it’s like…okurrr! I didn’t know she had all of that in her, okurrr! It’s like okaaay, but okay is played out…. We’ve done that already!”

Cardi not only filed to trademark “Okurrr” with three R’s but she also filed documents to trademark a version with two R’s.

In other Cardi B-related news, the rapper is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming stripper film, Hustlers. Cardi will be joining a star-studded cast including Constance Wu, KeKe Palmer, Lili Reinhart, and more. Filming is set to start tomorrow (Mar. 22nd).

Kanye West Is Reportedly Dying To Get Dua Lipa On "Yandhi"

GettyImages-1067076642.jpg

Of all the inspiring acts that come to mind, Kanye West is currently stuck on Dua Lipa. According to English publication The Sun, the G.O.O.D. Music mogul is putting out the necessary feelers to lure Dua Lipa aboard his creative vessel. More precisely, a so-called insider who spoke with The Sun played the messenger. Their belief is that Kanye is most impressed with her vocal range, after witnessing it up close, during an unaired Sunday Service taping.

Rich Fury/Getty Images

With Dua Lipa so kindly lending her voice to the session, Kanye’s impression of the singer took an immediate U-Turn, rendering him completely defenseless to her vocal inflections –  enough to clear up space on the mythical Yandhi project – according to the so-called insider whose name will likely remain anonymous.

“She’s already teamed up with Calvin Harris and he saw how well that song did commercially,” the insider told The Sun, in reference to the added bonus of Dua’s box office appeal. It’s worth noting, Dua Lipa is a massive Yeezy fan, as evidenced by remarks she made in the past, regarding his feud with Taylor Swift. She essentially picked his music over hers, when given the “Would You Rather?” proposition on a desert island. Let us know what you think, does Dua Lipa have the chops required of a Kanye West project of this grandeur?

Jimmy Uso Half-Naked During Arrest In New Bodycam Footage: Video

1553175832_cbd7bba3ea741142f569809ab4906f67.jpg

Back in February, WWE star Jimmy Uso was arrested on disorderly conduct charges after being stopped by police with his wife, Naomi. Uso was reportedly driving the wrong way down a one-way street when the incident occurred. When police stopped him, Uso got out of the car and took his shirt off. That’s when he squared up with police and tried to fight them. The incident all went down in Detroit, where Uso was promptly arrested and then released on bail.

WDIV Local 4 news in Detroit now have the bodycam footage of the arrest which shows how it all went down. Naomi told police “He’s had a lot to drink. He’s intoxicated” when referring to her husband. After Uso got out of his car and engaged police, they pulled out their tasers and urged him to get on the ground. Uso did just that and said: “Man, you don’t understand. I’m just here in and out. I’m in and out, man.”

After the arrest, Naomi took to Twitter to defend her husband and shed light on the situation.

“I was NOT ticketed, I was NOT drinking, leaving the lot I was unaware that it exits to a 1 way street,” Naomi wrote.

The two have been married since 2014.

NAV Claims DJ Drama & Don Cannon Won't Clear Lil Uzi Vert's "Habits" Verse

1553149955_52efefdc1c735cea4bade6794a614e8a.jpg

The business side of the music industry can be a slippery slope for artists. While many musicians just want to make music, oftentimes collaborating together to create art that fans love, executives don’t always have the same vision. This can slow down the process of releasing new music, sometimes even stopping it altogether.

That seems to be the issue NAV has been running into when it comes to putting together his forthcoming record. His anticipated albumBad Habits, is set to release this Friday, but he still doesn’t have all of his ducks in a row when it comes to one of the record’s tracks. The Toronto rapper took to Instagram to explain what’s been going on, saying that he’s been getting strong-armed by DJ Drama and Don Cannon over a Lil Uzi Vert verse.

“I know y’all wanted habits on the album,” NAV wrote. “I had an open verse for the longest and Uzi blessed us one. Unfortunately DJ Drama and Don Cannon won’t clear his verse legally. I use to be a big fan of them since Gangsta Grillz mixtapes and always thought they support new artist. I guess it’s all about $$$$ for them now. It’s crazy but it’s true.”

Lil Uzi Vert is signed to Drama and Cannon’s Generation Now label in a joint-venture partnership with Atlantic Records. This isn’t the first time that NAV has had struggles with releasing new music. The last few months have become so frustrating that the Canadian rapper has threatened to retire and quit making music. Fortunately, his Brown Boy EP dropped recently, showing that the 29-year-old is still in the game.
