Last year, Key! arrived with his 777 Vol. 1 project, a collaborative effort alongside producer Kenny Beats. The effort sparked a deluxe edition in the final quarter of 2018 and included an appearance from names that include Jay Critch, Skepta, Rico Nasty, and 6LACK. Now, Key! returns with a new clip for the 6LACK-assisted cut “Love On Ice.” The track is a moody offering (familiar territory for 6LACK) and underscores Key’s own versatility.
In the new clip, directed by David Wept, the duo appropriately navigates the downside of relationships against an icy backdrop as Key! undergoes the transition to a savage while he and his girl go through a breakup: “Stiff arm like Julio/What the fuck did I do to you/Got me jumping through hula hoops/When I don’t feel like losing you.”
