In a 2006 filing for a restraining order in Thurston County Superior Court, south of Seattle, Charlton’s parents said he had tried to provoke a fight with them while he was drunk and abusive.

Lyne wasn’t home Saturday morning when her former husband planned to drop their children with her, police said. The girls lived with their mother, but were with Ingrid’s ex-husband last Friday night, when she reportedly went to a Mariners game with suspect John Charlton.

Human remains found in a Seattle homeowner’s recycling bin on Saturday have been tentatively linked to a woman who vanished Friday after a date with a man she met online.

Lyne, who is divorced, was a nurse at Swedish Hospital on Broadway in Seattle.

Cops later found Lyne’s SUV, a silver 2015 Toyota Highlander initially reported stolen, in downtown Seattle.

Charlton has been convicted for several different offenses in several different states, court documents confirm, but he has not yet been officially charged in Lyne’s murder.

John Robert Charlton on Tuesday was ordered held in King County Jail in lieu of $2 million bail in connection with the slaying of Renton nurse and mother Ingrid Lyne. He was arrested for theft in Missoula, Montana in 2009.

In Lyne’s case, she reportedly did all the right things: she told friends and family where she was and set her date for a public place.

Seattle police say they’re assisting in the investigation as well.

“She was on a date Friday night at the Mariners game with a guy she had recently met named John Charlton“.

A report via the dailybeast tells of John Charlton’s rap sheet including convictions for misdemeanor assault in 1997 and misdemeanor battery in 2009 in Idaho.

He said he doesn’t know how he left her home, saying she must have driven him back to Seattle, where he then slept on a sidewalk. “There’s so many people doing online dating, there’s no way to tell who’s going to strike”. “Kids…they need a mom”.

When news of body parts being discovered in the recycling bin surfaced over the weekend, Franceschina said he feared the worst.

Police “found bits of human flesh and blood in the bathtub drain”, King County Deputy Prosecutor Jennifer Worley said, according to KCPQ. Charlton did speak with investigators after his arrest and part of that interview could shed light on how the crime unfolded.

Investigators searching Ingrid home in Renton, Seattle found a 15-inch pruning saw, swabs of blood and an empty box of bin liners identical to those in which her remains were found.
