Sachin Spends B’day With Make-A-Wish Foundation Children


Big B and Sachin have often been spotted interacting with each other at various A-list events.

It has nearly been three years since Sachin Tendulkar, who was born on April 24 in 1973, retired but his brilliance and mind-numbing consistency still resonates.

Make-A-Wish India foundation help children to realise their wishes and dreams. He is often spotted at Bollywood’s A-list parties with his wife Anjali.

Tendulkar was in a league of his own in limited-overs cricket and etched his name in history books in 2000 when he became the first cricketer to score a double century in an ODI – against South Africa. India opener Shikhar Dhawan said, “Happy Birthday Paaji!” Tendulkar received India’s highest civilian award Bharat Ratna in 2014. The BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur wrote on Twitter, “Happy birthday to one and only @sachin_rt“.

“Former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq wrote, “Have a wonderful day brother @sachin_rt”. Wish you all the happiness in life.

Tendulkar is the leading run-scorer in Tests and ODIs.

Yuvraj Singh also wished his inspiration on the social media. It was a game of cricket wherein every child got a chance to bat and bowl.

According to a report on ESPNCricinfo, the crowd at Feroz Shah Kotla was heard singing “Happy Birthday to Sachin” on Saturday itself. “All hail the man who made and making our country proud”.
