4 p.m. ET: Sheriff Jim Olson from Carver County, Minnesota started the press conference noting, “This is a tragedy for all of us”.

A spokesperson for the Medical Examiner’s Office said: ‘There will be full panel of tests, tissue samples, and toxicology tests.’ She explained that the results could take weeks.

Olson and a medical examiner’s office spokeswoman refused to comment Friday when asked about prescription drugs or a possible overdose. The site released a photo of Prince reportedly leaving a Walgreens near his home earlier this week. Although results from Prince’s autopsy won’t be released for several weeks, officials have stated that there were no obvious signs of trauma.

“All of our officers carry Narcan-and that was not used at all yesterday”, Olsen said.

He was also seen pacing outside a Wallgreen’s the day before his death.

Responding to reporters’ questions, Sheriff Olson also said they were not able to confirm any medication he had been using.

Housley says she’s a huge Prince fan and that seeing the world lit up in purple makes her proud.

As he was headed home to Minnesota on April 15, his plane made an emergency landing, and he was rushed to a hospital in IL. His former percussionist Sheila E. told The Associated Press that Prince suffered the effects from years of jumping off risers and speakers on stage while wearing high heels.

Police received a 911 call from Paisley Park at 9:43 a.m. CDT.

Prince was the only one at the residence the night before until the three staff members who came to check on him arrived. They said he was alone at home at the time of his death and that emergency services were called by friends and colleagues who were unable to get in touch with Prince Thursday morning. Freed said he believed Prince held the party to show everyone he was fine.

Hundreds of fans were gathered outside the estate, where a security fence was covered with purple balloons, flowers, signs and more honoring Prince, who both lived and recorded there.

REMEMBERING HIS PURPLE HIGHNESSCities, celebrities and music lovers across the country were shocked when news broke Thursday that legendary artist Prince had died at age 57.

“There had been so many rumors I’ve read about”. “To our generation, he was the songbook and narrative to some of the greatest moments of our lives”, she said.
