ANAHEIM, California – Coming home worked out just fine for the Anaheim Ducks. “We definitely want to finish it off in six”.

The Ducks and Predators are all tied up at two heading back to Anaheim on Saturday night. He’s managed only four shots in the last three games and his body check in the offensive zone paved the way for a Ducks’ 4-on-2 that resulted in Ryan Getzlaf’s goal 62 seconds into Game 4.

Frederik Andersen stopped 27 shots for the Ducks.

“He seems to stand tall when the moment is brightest and biggest”, Cam Fowler said.

He gave Anaheim a 4-2 advantage.

“We’ve got to continue to keep moving and try to find those areas to get it through”, Predators coach Peter Laviolette told The Tenneseean.

We said not to overlook Anaheim. He fought off two defenders while digging the puck out of the boards behind the net and stuffing it around the right post. Sami Vatanen scored on a breakaway, Fowler had a power-play goal and Ryan Kesler added an empty-netter. Like the ’14 Kings squad, these Predators have a strong defense in Shea Weber and Roman Josi, a solid goaltender in Rinne and opportunistic scorers like Mike Fisher and Ryan Johansen.

There’s no rush for him to return though: playing in Games 3 and 4, backup Matt Murray has allowed only one goal off of 48 shots.

Ryan Johansen scored for Nashville 22 seconds before the Ducks tied it in the second.

Boudreau said it implies courage and a team that’s “willing to do what you need to do to win”. “It’s never easy sailing in the playoffs”. While the Ducks’ penalty kill has continued to shine in the playoffs, the power play, which converted at 23.1% in the regular season, has been dismal against the Predators. In 2014 when the Ducks faced Los Angeles in the second round, Anaheim fell down 0-2 on home ice, only to come back and win three straight games. Ducks LW Andrew Cogliano entered the day leading playoff teams in shooting percentage at 50.0 after converting two of four shots…. Nashville is 0-8 when losing three of the first five games in a playoff series….

The Anaheim Ducks figured if they could pull an entire season from the flames of a miserable start, going from worst in the National Hockey League to first in the Pacific, why couldn’t they resurrect a playoff series?
