OneRepublic last performed in Malaysia in 2013. — Picture via Twitter KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 11 — Grammy-nominated American pop band, OneRepublic will be making its way to Malaysia as part of their Asian tour in April, to promote its fourth and latest album, Oh My My.
No further details have been announced by organisers WGW Entertainment, but the Kuala Lumpur stopover for the April 25 show is the latest of three destinations announced in the region after Singapore and South Korea.
The band comprising vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarist Zach Filkins, guitarist Drew Brown, drummer Eddie Fisher and bassist Brent Kutzle, last performed in Malaysia in 2013.
Formed in 2002, the band from Colorado first achieved commercial success on social networking site, Myspace in 2006 as an unsigned act and went on to rack up a string of hits that include Apologize, Stop and Stare, Counting Stars and If I Lose Myself.
Oh My My, their fourth studio album released in October 2016, debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 and features collaborations with the likes of Cassius, Peter Gabriel, and Santigold.
