RAIPUR: An FIR has been lodged against doctors of government-run Ambedkar hospital for alleged neglect of patients and delay in visiting them.
As per the hospital’s spokesperson, the issue began on Monday evening after attendants alleged that junior doctors were ignoring the patients and coming late on their check-up visits. When doctors turned up later than their usual time, attendants started arguing with them and accused them of ignoring their duties. The heated discussion soon turned into a major fight. Police had to be called to intervene.
Following that, attendants and junior doctors filed an FIR at Modhapara police station. The case is under investigation.
