Death at Prince’s recording studio under investigation

Just previous year, Prince held a “Rally 4 Peace” concert in Baltimore on May 10 following the death of Freddie Gray.

Saddened by Prince’s death.

Instead of David Bowie and Prince, I grew up on contemporary Christian artists like Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant – and some others you’ve probably never heard of. Prince was a revolutionary artist, a great musician, composer, a wonderful lyricist, a startling guitar player….Prince’s talent was limitless. Jess and her boyfriend at the time, Nick Miller (Jake Johnson), end up running into Prince outside the party and he ultimately asks her to perform with him. You will be woefully missed…”, and actress Zooey Deschanel, who duetted with Prince on 2014 track FALLINLOVE2NITE, lamented, “Prince was a true gentleman, a king among men. “He played guitar as well as he played keyboards as well as he played bass as well as he played drums”. CPR was ineffective on him, and he was pronounced dead at 57 years old.

The musician seemed to be shedding his reclusive reputation.

Justin Timberlake stated, “Numb”.

“It was nearly like the Army when it came to music”, he said. “Yes, please. I would like some more”.

As Prince broke into his iconic song Purple Rain, it began raining again on the stadium – a night that changed the course of stadium history, for it was that downpour that ultimately inspired Dolphins owner Stephen Ross to cough up $450 million for the current renovations on the stadium for a canopy to help attract future Super Bowls.

Prince was all about range, his voice swooping from a come-hither bass to a crooning falsetto on such songs as “International Lover”. Listening to your music. At the time, his representatives said he was battling the flu.

“We lost another one”.

“I was on the phone talking to them (Prince’s representatives) during the day every couple of hours (April 14)”, Litman said.

KISS Singer Gene Simmons described Prince as a “giant”, while DJ Zane Lowe said: “You will always be The Greatest”.

“Though they were Orthodox Jews, and it was Yom Kippur, they were also Prince fans”, Sean O’Hagan of The Observer wrote of the incident. “An enormous talent that we were all big fans of”.

Lenny Kravitz tweeted, “My musical brother…” The NFL put together a really good video package about why the rain should be a challenge to an artist, but wasn’t to Prince. “Gone way too soon”. My driver’s license, that universal symbol of freedom, meant free reign on the vehicle radio, and I’d dance in the auto each time it came on, dreaming about graduation and the road ahead. He represents a vanishing breed of artist, the uncompromising kind indifferent to such hollow absurdities as “brand” in marketing jargon’s ever-advancing assault on creativity, twisting its definition into a perverse, nearly craven need to please, to pander, to belong, to “matter”. “Great Sense Of Humor”.
